I sort of feel badly only given us three stars, but it wasn’t due to the quality of the product, but instead to the instructions which were awful. Why they didn’t include a picture, versus a terrible drawing, showing what it would look like if it was mounted on the outside or to the inside of the window frame is beyond me. In addition, the template that they gave you which does help align the holes says to the edge of the window. Does that mean to the edge of the window frame, the casing, or just the glass part itself? And since it doesn’t mean the frame you need to make sure that you bought it high enough to allow for the blind self to click in to the bracket so it doesn’t hit the window frame.

Blinds work fine. However, the support brackets were a bit confusing. The instructions are useless. The bracket has the word top with an arrow. The blind hangs verses sets on the bracket. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the mounting brackets.

In fact, the tension on one side of the blind was poor from the time I opened the package. I need to return this product for a replacement.

Fell apart after 19 months
Came home after a business trip to find that my 42x72 inch mini blinds had self destructed on their own, knocking items off a shelf after the slats broke apart and scattered. Of course, it was past the warranty period so Home Depot customer service just blew me off even though this product is made for HD. This was in a low use area, and the mounts were perfectly fine, so this seems like a case of poor materials and planned obsolescence…

Look Nice At First
After less than one year of regular use, they’ll look like the pics. This is a “get what you pay for” situation. I have a thick vinyl set in another pair of windows that has lasted years and still look brand new. These just became brittle, chipped and broke off, others split in half so I have a piece of tape holding it together, and they won’t raise beyond 6” anymore. These are cheap, house-selling blinds.

Except they aren’t white white.
Super easy to install- just need a pencil, drill, and screwdriver. And you can’t beat the price. BUT these blinds aren’t white white. With the sun shining through they are more an antique white (in photo: previous white blind on the right, this blind on the left)
