Helps my plants grow
I don’t know what is it about this air purifier. But so far it has helped my indoor plants grow and bloom. In the beginning I actually purchased this air purifier because I live in a old apartment with dirty air ducts and I have neighbors who smoke. This air purifier has cleaned my air so much and it smells good and clean in my apartment. I also turn it on whenever I’m cooking so it collects the smoke. So far I’ve had it for 2 years and I still love it.

Sensitive but Worth your in the Southern US States
this has been ... so sensitive its going off after making Coffee!(i have it on Auto) went from Blue to Red right after, and hasnt changed till not long after i finished my cup. its so much bigger than expected! comes with 4 Carbon Filters (1 for first run, 3 more after. the Replacement packs delt with properly will last 1 full year. at 51$ a pack its a little expensive but fair. just make sure to clean the Mesh "Pre-Filter" every 2 weeks, and replace the Carbon Filter every 3 months.

Needs as many as 4 expensive HEPA filters yearly
Winix HEPA is a reasonably priced purifier that works reasonably well, but eats expensive HEPA filters like inkjet printers gobble-up cartridges. The $66.27 replacement filter set, makes Winix's purifiers quickly costs much more than the purchase price, because it appears the charcoal prefilter sheds charcoal particles that clog the HEPA filter in little than 3 months; that's as much as $265 for replacement filters every year. So higher priced, better designed competitors cost less overall?

Clean air!!!
We tried a couple diff brand air purifiers, but returned them within two weeks. The Winix 480 was “the keeper” & has proven itself to be a quality air purifier in our home 2 yrs running. I have asthma and this unit has improved my condition.

Great mid-size purifier
Was considering the Winix 5300 or 5500 but wanted a purifier in white. The D360 has very similar specs as far as CADR, noise, etc. It does not have Plasmawave but I was not going to use it anyway. The lights are a bit bright for bedroom use. If you put it in sleep mode they will dim but we leave our air purifiers constantly running on medium. Lightdims help with dimming the lights.

Nice air purifier!
This is a nicely designed air purifier with the best purification technology including a mesh pre-ftiler, carbon sheet filter and true HEPA. It is a little heavy but well built, the fan is quiet on low. In a week it has collected some dust on the pre-filter already.
