Wooster Pro Surpass Mini Cage Roller Cover offers high paint capacity with less dripping or spatter. The fabric resists matting for complete coverage. Wooster Pro Mini Cage Rollers are smooth-rolling - they do not skid like rod-style mini rollers can. They're great for any area with a lot of fixtures, trim, or windows resulting in small spaces. Additional painting project uses; cabinets, doors, kitchens, baths, closets, and hallways. The handle is threaded for attachment to all extension poles or can clip to Wooster Sherlock GT poles. Q:Where can I find a wooden handle to screw into base? The threading is not a standard size.

A:  We are pleased to hear that you were happy with your purchase of the Wooster Mini Cage Frame Assembly. If you are looking for a farther reach, this mini cage frame does come in a longer length metal shank (item # 304364210). The mini cage frames do have 'universal' threading inside the handle, meaning it should fit most threaded poles. If you desire a wood handle extension, Home Depot does carry a few options.

    A:  You can use a replacement pole from Home Depot that has no threading on the end for a replacement rake. It fits right in and you can cut it for any length.

    A:  Unlike its bigger siblings, my roller does not slide off the handle so I just washed mine in warm soapy water. It looks like the the entire product has to be replaced when the roller needs replacing.

    A:  The Wooster Sherlock Mini roller offers hands-free cover removal. Just hit the shank of the frame over a 5-gallon bucket and the cover will come right off into the bucket. A visual of this can be seen in the images for this item on dot com along with in the video for the item. We also always welcome calls to Wooster Customer Service at 800-392-7246.

      A:  We would not recommend the Wooster Pro Surpass or any knit cover for epoxy coatings. We recommend using a woven cover. The Wooster Pro Woven Mini's would be a good option for this should you be looking for a mini cover (see product #203240071). We also offer the same great fabric in our standard size roller covers.           We hate to hear your weren't happy with your Wooster Pro Surpass roller cover. The Surpass cover is a high production knit that picks up and releases a large volume of paint. When first loaded and saturated with a heavy coating, it can appear weighed down, but once rolled on the wall you will find it provides excellent coverage and as has actually kept it's shape. The 3/4 in. nap of this cover is perfect for textured walls and surfaces.

          The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is that it does not fit in a standard 6" disposable roller tray (the shallow ones available anywhere that sells paint supplies). After starting project, I had to stop and get a full size paint tray. If the roller was 6" it would fit. Aside from this, I do like that both 4" and the 6.5" fit on the same roller frame. The Wooster paint rollers are very good quality, as far as materials, manufacturing and paint application. I've trusted Wooster brushes for years. I was really disappointed with this design flaw.
