Product Details

The WORX Landroid S is here to give larger lawn owners their weekends back. It comes with a 2.0Ah high-capacity Power Share battery and a 7-in. cutting width to mow up to a 1/8 acre. You'll never have to cut your lawn again once you set up your Landroid. Just place the charging base, lay the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and secure it with pegs, and finish setup on the handy Landroid App. You can even control Landroid and schedule mowing times from the App, without ever getting off your couch. It's packed with cutting-edge tech to ensure it does a good job and leaves you with a lawn you can be proud of. The patented AIA (Artificial Intelligence Algorithm) allows it to navigate narrow passages with ease (something other robotic mowers have trouble with). And its Floating Blade Disc automatically raises the blades when Landroid encounters uneven terrain, so it doesn't get trapped or stuck. Plus, it's powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor that runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful, and offers 10% longer life compared to mowers with brushed motors. The Landroid S is the next generation of robotic lawn mowers, with more performance and functionality to take on bigger yards.
  • [FULLY AUTOMATED ROBOTIC LAWNMOWER] Designed for larger lawns, can cut up to a 1/8 acre
  • [BETTER CLEARANCE ON UNEVEN TERRAIN] Floating blade disc automatically lifts the blades giving Landroid more clearance to navigate uneven terrain without getting trapped or stuck
  • [DO IT ALL WITH THE SAME BATTERY] Worx power share is compatible with all Worx 20-Volt and 40-Volt tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products
  • [SMART APP] Control Landroid remotely via the Landroid app by connecting via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
  • [PATENTED AIA (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ALGORITHM)] Cutting technology ensures it can pass through narrow paths with ease
  • [DO IT ALL WITH THE SAME BATTERY] 20V 2.0Ah Power Share battery is compatible with all Worx 20V, 40V and 80V tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products
  • [TACKLES OBSTACLES] If Landroid encounters obstacles it will bump them and back away, or you can exclude areas of your lawn that you don't want Landroid to mow, landroid can also tackle slopes in your yard up to 20 degrees
  • [RAIN SENSOR] when Landroid detects rain, it returns to the charger to wait until the lawn is dry, even though its body is rain-resistant, it knows better than to cut wet grass
  • [CUT TO EDGE] The 7 in. offset 3-blade cutting disc gets closer to the edge than other mowers, so you have less trimming to do later
  • [HIGH-EFFICIENCY BRUSHLESS MOTOR] Runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful, and offers 10% longer life compared to mowers with brushed motors

                Firmware Update!
Initially, the Landroid L would worm its way out of the boundary wire everyday, and would subsequently get stuck. This always happened on a slope. A call to customer service revealed it was a known issue that should be solved with a firmware update. The update came in mid-August, 2020, and solved the issue. Now, the Landroid L performs beautifully. I have St. Augustine grass, which gets fertilized as required, and it grows fast! I setup the Landroid to cut everyday from 11am 'til 8pm instead of on Auto. Now, it keeps up with the fast growing grass. Programming is easy. The battery will last about 1 1/2 hours before the Landroid returns for a recharge. Then, out of the garage it goes to continue cutting the grass.

It took about two weeks but now I got him working. If you have a little bit of a slope make sure you keep it off the slope as it will side down. Also, roots are an issue for sure, had to get some topsoil to cover them. Overall I am very happy with it now but you will need to do some work to get it to work in a normal yard with trees and bushes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I bought this finally, the cost of this mower was the cost of having a mowing service take care of my yard for a summer. Just take the plunge and take care of the yard on your own. You are going to love it.

                    New Landroid WR-165 Owner
Been working the kinks out of my Landroid teaching me what it likes for the past few weeks. Still seems to like leaving the boundary for some reason. But… I just left the yard to speak with my neighbor and this is what I saw upon my return: Oops, it looks like you need a YouTube account!

Dont waste your time and money on this
I had high hopes for this robot. After getting everything set up and running, the robot worked ok for about a week. Then it started to give me random error messages. After calling the tech support, they said that it was because of my uneven terrain (I live in a part of Texas where it it flatter than anything you might expect). Then the tech got on google maps and said "oh yea you are right, it is very flat there". They they wanted me to take videos of the robot and the type of behavior it makes

                        LOVE my Landroid
I've had it up and running for a month and I have to say I don't remember when I've been so happy with a gadget. Running the wire wasn't horrible but not a lot of fun, but now that it's all set up, I'm amazed every day. How it gets everything the way it pinballs around , I don't know, but it does. I bought mine when it came with the ACS, and it's great too. It really goes around my planters. I was skeptical because my yard is so small and complex, but this thing does the job and it's so awesome to not have to mow the yard anymore. I thought I would miss it, but I don't. It takes me about 5 minutes to trim up the edges, and it looks perfect all the time. No more clippings to deal with. Even after a month, I still go out and watch it do its thing for about 30 minutes every evening. Love it.

A very good balance of price and features, as long as you don’t need the extras (such as the GPS module for theft protection or the obstacle detector). If you do, it may be better to go for a different brand. Simple to set up and operate, just needs a little work at first to plan and lay down the barrier wire.

                          Nice Features, Smart software
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Landroid to mow my backyard. I have to start off my saying that my backyard has problems. In short I would say that my yard is "lumpy" and it has viney Bermuda Grass. It's making it tough on the Landroid. It will take me a while to get my yard in better shape. I plan to seed it with Zoysia like I did my front yard and I am going to add more dirt to smooth things out. The Landroid does a good job at maneuvering to get around the problems in my yard which really shows the intelligence in the software. I'm getting older and the heat is getting hotter so I'm really going to enjoy not mowing my backyard. If you have a new yard get a Landroid as soon as possible. I wish I had bought one sooner.
