SCREW 10X5/8 PH PN SMS
Thank you for your interest in our Wright Products VH440SB door closer. It only installs on the push/outswing side of the door and the jamb bracket must be installed as directed to achieve a 90 degree opening.
Yes, can be mounted on a storm or screen door.
Model V820 is 1-1/4" in diameter, 9" tube length and hole to hole 11-1/16".
I'm sorry, this is not an overhead door closer, it was designed for free swinging storm doors.
Just as you install any door closures with the mountings supplied and instructions. Only difference this uses fluid and not air preassure
A hydraulic closer has viscous fluid acting to slow the speed the door closes. A pneumatic uses a small hole that slows the passage of air between two ends of a tube, slowing the speed the door closes. The down side of hydraulic is that it can leak if the product very old or of poor initial construction. I bought this closer and the fluid leaded out immediately. See Pic. Beware...
Yes. my door is steel.
I found that moving the adjuster holes made some difference. I tried the screen and glass holes but found that the "screen" hole worked better than the glass hole and we have glass doors (Double Doors). There is still a little push at the end but the screen hole overcomes most of the slam.
Yes solid black
