A: Neil - the manual with starting instructions can be downloaded from the product page for the YF7302 on HomeDepot.com or YardForceUSA.com. Make sure you use the correct gas and winterize the fuel according to the recommendations to keep it in optimum running condition.
A: This is the worst power equipment I’ve ever owned. I’ve used it maybe 4 times in two years. It’s very difficult to get started, I have to take cover off the air intake and pour some gas in the carburetor. Don’t buy this
A: Just put the thing in the trash. Not worth fixing!
A: This is a complete piece of crap. Do not buy it!!!!
A: the carburetor on mine was replaced through and small engine repair shop approved by the manufacturer, less than a year after purchase. fast forward to year 2 same issue, suspect same problem, I am not paying for a carburetor. I bought a whole new edger from a different company.
A: Mine quit after 3 months, run for 5 to 10 minutes and quit. Then it would not start. Returned it! BAD BUY!!
A: Hi Alvaro, sorry you are experiencing some starting issues with your YF7302. It could be related to gas or some other minor adjustment. Please contact the Yard Force Customer Care Center at support@merotecusa.com or call 866-902-9690.
A: My edger only started 3 times First with the cord, very easy Second would not start with the pull cord no matter what I did, so I returned it for a refund.
A: Put gas in it and then choke it before you try to start it.
A: If you stored it with fuel still in it you most likely need to clean the carburetor.
A: Hi Kara, the YF7302 has a 9" metal blade that can cut up to 4" into the ground. IT only cuts the width of the blade (approx. 1/4" final result. This would not be wide enough for a pipe in a sprinkler system. You would have to cut 2 lines parallel with each other that are the width of the trough needed to lay the pipe, and dig out the dirt between the cuts by hand.
A: Have not tried to do this, but I think the hole would not be wide enough.
A: No didn’t cut deep enough
A: If it starts, about 3”.
A: Not very well.
