So far it has been a beast. Powerful. Not too loud. Starts right up. Easy to maneuver around. I like the product. Great price also.

I just purchased this mower, just getting it out of the box and the paint is just chipping right off. No biggie right. But the fact that it was almost 300$ and you have to empty it every 5 minutes is ridiculous. It feels cheap, the material it’s made of is poor quality and will probably break in less than a year. Only positive is it cuts grass nicely. Don’t buy this unless you have an extremely tiny yard.

            Not Durable
I have had this model of mower for less than two years and it is falling apart. With less than a full year of ownership, the right rear wheel cracked all the way around the mount and fell off. Fortunately, it was within the year of the manufacturer's warranty and was replaced for free. Just yesterday, the push bar completely broke off just below the bolts that mount it to the mower deck. I would never recommend this model of mower. Unfortunately, this experience has completely soured me with this brand. The only positive comment that I have is that it did a nice job cutting the grass.

About $100 over priced for what you get
This mower does NOT have a well known name brand engine on it, so I’m not sure how long it’ll last. Almost every bolt and nut was loose from the factory, so make sure you have a full set of metric wrenches. The frame is quite thin and already had a few wear spots down to the bare metal from shipping. After installing the multi-piece handle and tightening up all the loose bolts I top it off with 10W-30 engine oil. Then I put about 1/4 tank of fuel in it just to break it in. Suprisingly, it started on the 2nd pull. Within a couple of seconds I realized the handle has no cushion on it of any kind, so it’s a little uncomfortable. Within a few minutes I could smell the new burning off, like really strong. After 5 minutes of light load I released the safety handle to shut off the engine and check the oil level. I noticed that it doesnt have an engine brake system like most push mowers have now days, and It takes a few seconds to shut down. Anyway, I checked the oil level and it was good. While it cooled down I looked over the design. I noticed the multi piece handle has open holes in the top of the mid section which will allow critters and even worse, water to be held. This will cause rust and corrosion rather quickly compared to previously owned mowers. I guess we’ll see how long its going to last, but I’ll be suprused if it last more that 2 years.

Do not purchase. The wheel fell off on first use
Made this purchase on a different site. Bought the item in December with the intention of using it in the spring. Just unpackaged it two days ago. During first use and only a small section mowed, the back wheel snapped at the center and fell off during a turn. This was not under extreme force, I was simply turning around to go back the other direction. I am leaving a review anywhere I can find that sells this cheaply made product.

                  Very Disappointing Experience!
I started using it around mid April. Broken down twice already. Been waiting on parts since early August (Oct. 27th today) because parts have to come from China. I've even found cracks in the deck that repair guys call unsafe. Yardmax refused to replace!

The height adjustment makes the left back wheel weaker
My left back wheel broke off from the frame. The bolt holding the wheel & also handling the height adjustment broke while mowing. I have a big yard & like having a push mower for exercise, unfortunately this one didn't last the summer due to the bolt breaking or the weld not holding on to the frame. The engine worked great & it cuts good but if you have lots of turns & up & downs the weakened connection to the frame will eventually give way after use

Unfortunately I never got to use the mower. When I opened the box I first saw that a section of the parts packaged had opened and nuts and bolts were scattered throughout the box. Then when I started taking the mower deck out, I noticed the paint on the edge was peeling. I packaged it back up and took it back to The Home Depot. I was really excited for this mower. It was the only one I could find with a full metal deck. It also had the single lever for raising and lowering the deck. I debated this one because it being their own engine brand but when I saw that Yardmax had other yard equipment I figured I'd give them a try. I was disappointed that I couldn't even give them a shot. I didn't want to wait for another mower to be shipped so I purchased a Troy-Bilt TB100 mower instead.

Everything was very easy to assemble. It has been doing a great job. Only problem I’ve had is the rubber brush guard that’s attached on the back. I read other reviews from folks having the same issue. It’s too long and if you pull it in reverse the brush guard goes too far under the deck and the blade chops the brush guard up. Other than that cosmetic issue the mower itself is very good purchase in my opinion. For that reason I gave it a 4 Star instead of 5 stars.
