How do I level this product for installation?
Hi FJHSR Since this is a long shelf, my recommendation is to trace the back of the ledge on a piece of paper be sure to mark the holes. Then place the paper on your wall with tape. Using a level, adjust, and mark wall where the holes are. Please install into a wall stud or use the drywall anchors provided to secure and hold the max. weight. How much does the 72 inch ledge weigh?
The middle hole falls where there is a stud with electrical wiring. Can I drill holes in this material?
We do not recommend altering the product because it will void the manufacturers warranty.
What is the height dimension of the front edge/lip that comes up?
Could this be stained?
Do these shelves come with the mounting brackets?
Hi Robert, This shelf does not have brackets. There are simple screws that are installed directly through the hang holts on the Picture ledge. This size has enough screws to hold securely to the wall. Also, we include anchors in case you cannot locate a wall stud that we recommend using. Thank you!
