The 39" width will accommodate my small area (36" x 60") . In other words, I only need one sheet cut to length (no inside seams to tape). Do the outside edges of underlayment need to be taped to secure to subfloor?
Thank you for your question. Natural LVT does not need to be taped to the subfloor. It can be installed floating, double glue down, or nail down, and the method will be determined by the flooring requirements (the underlayment should be installed the same method as the flooring). If installing in a basement or where a vapor barrier is required, the underlayment should extend 1-2" up the side of all walls.
Does this product include taping on the edges?
Yes, Natural LVT includes an integrated seaming tape which upholds the vapour barrier.
Can this product be used under LVP flooring in a bathroom?
Thank you for your question. Yes, Natural LVT was designed for LVT/LVP flooring so it would work well for this project. The underlayment and the attached seaming tape are both full vapour barriers as well.
Can this be used with pad attached vinyl flooring?
Yes, Natural LVT SG can be used underneath an LVT plank floor with an attached underlayment where the attached pad is not greater than 1mm thick and the flooring manufacturer approves the use of additional underlays
Can this product be used for glue down vinyl with fiberglass backing? Does is need a special adhesive to adhere?

Is this product actually waterproof like 6 mil?
Good question! We had Natural LVT SG tested at an authorized independent lab and it is actually 3x stronger in water vapour protection than 6mil poly. Under test ASTM E96M-16, Water Vapour Transmission, measured in lbs/1000 square feet, 6 mil poly measures 0.554, and Natural LVT measures 0.17, where lower is better. Note as well, water vapour transmission standards are a stricter standard than "waterproofness" alone.
Can this underlayment be used for nail down solid hardwood floors?
I used it and it worked fine
Yes, Natural LVT is especially suited to installation underneath nail down hard wood flooring.
can this be used under sheet vinyl?
Natural LVT is not warranted for use with linoleum, nylon backed or roll out material with a thickness of less than 3mm. Please ensure to follow all warranty and installation guidelines of the sheet vinyl manufacturer as well as that of Natural LVT.
