Beautiful rug I love the way it brings out the room.i got the 8 x10 and it’s big and covers all the space I need it to. Good price other places are charge $300+ for this kind of rugs. Delivery was fast which I loved.

I don’t recommend washing this carpet with water but you can used a carpet cleaning vacuum.

Yes, I have a carpet shampoo machine that I use for spot cleaning, etc. Rug dries quickly as well

Can you open the windows where you are too help air it out of the home? You could always try a carpet cleaning machine or maybe some febreeze to help until it has fully aired out. Probably the best way is to let it air out outside but I realize most people don't want to do that with a new rug.

Hi Trint! Open the windows and led fresh air circulation run through your house. This will speed up the process. The smell shouldn’t last longer than a week. I don’t remember mine being that potent(the smell) so I didn’t pay much attention to it. Oh I guess you could get some aromatic candles with Christmas hint to distract your nose from the carpet smell until is gone. Good luck!
