        A:  Yes, I used this for 2200 sq feet of artificial turf and it's perfect for it. Just use a plate compactor to make it smooth.

          A:  I DON'T RECCOMEND THIS FOR SYNTHIC GRASS UNDERLAYMENT! Unless you put minimum 2" of DG and both are compacted. The rock will eventually come loose and when you walk on it IT WILL HURT! I have 2500 sq. ft. with DG and I can still feel some rocks.

            Q:Is this product similar to Class 2 road base? The difference being crushed rock verses crushed concrete for Class 2 Road Base. Thanks.

              A:  Use online volume calculator & compare to bag volume. Your project ~8 cubic feet, this bag 9 cubic feet. So 1 bag, but depends on measurement accuracy, if geotextile barrier used to keep gravel from migrating into soil, compaction plan, etc.
