A: I’m not an electrician but I don’t see why not since it’s a surge protector.
by|Dec 18, 2020
A: Yes, strip works better if mounted so it doesn’t move around, but it will easily power your coffee maker.

A: I would get an appliance rated extension cord only to be safe. They should have some near the appliances.

A: I don't see why you could not. Just don't overload by plugging numerous electrical items in the power strip.

Q:My wall will one accept a two prong power strip. Is this two prong or three prong?
by|May 11, 2020

Answer This Question
A: This is a 3 prong power strip. You will have to buy a 2 prong adaptor.
by|May 11, 2020
A: This has two prongs and the ground in the standard US pattern of two flat, one round. The nice thing though is the wire comes out at a 90* angle, so it lays flat against the wall and you can put furniture up against it without having the bulky cord in the way.

A: Change out your outlet to three for the ground, or find a power strip without one. You could put an adapter with 3 prong female end and a two prong male end.
by|Jun 4, 2020
A: 3 prong. You can buy a ground lift which will be located in your electrical aisle where all the outlets are. It just adapts it down to 2 prong.

A: Three prong.

Q:can this be used for microwaves

Answer This Question
A: As long as no other appliances share this unit and the microwave does not exceed the capacity. You'll know if the built in circuit breaker in the power strip shuts off.
by|Oct 15, 2019
A: I wouldn't. I'd buy a short cord at least 12 or 14 gauge depending on the power consumption of the microwave.
by|Oct 1, 2019
A: It Depends On How Many Amps That Your Microwave Draws. This Is Only A 15 Amp Power Strip And The Cord Is Only A 14 Gauge. But If Your Microwave Draws Less Than 14 Amps, Then You Could Use It!
by|Feb 17, 2020
A: It depends on the current rating of your microwave. Stay under the rating of the plug strip and you wiill be fine.

A: It's a basic power strip with no surge protector.

A: No surge protection, just a plug strip. You can add MOV style surge protector to one of the outlets on the strip and protect the others. MOV's are a parallel type device that "shorts" surges above the design voltage to ground.
