A:  Typically we recommend the closer the better to gain the benefit of instant hot water. Distance can affect the performance of the unit and how long it will take for hot water to reach the application.

A:  It's worse ,take to long make it hot and some time hot some time cold, I used only one person and it's not working after year.. Don't buy it.

A:  Try cutting back the water flow into the unit and reduce the water temperature. It took some trial and error to get the balance, but ours is working fine. Our water temp is set at 126-127, and we like hot showers!

A:  This sounds like a problem with your wiring. Make sure you have the system hooked up to the correct number of double pole breakers. In your case, probably 3 or 4 double pole breakers (6 or 8) spots total. A client of mine had this exact problem when a plumber hooked theirs up to only one double pole breaker like the standard water heater would be.

A:  Are you using a well or city water? My first on demand water heater did the same thing as water pressure dropped using a well. That unit had an adjustment for controlling the temp so with a little higher temp setting it worked fine. Good luck

A:  Confusing. The unit I'm currently looking at is the 30 amp single pole with 10/3 wire model. It looks like these questions/answers/reviews are relating to 2 or more different products.

A:  This unit requires a 60 amp double pole breaker. You will need to have a 240 volt service connection using a 4/2 AWG wire from your unit to the breaker. Hope this helps to answer your question! Thank you!
