Is it okay to use a toggle bolt instead of the supplied hanger bolt?
Thank you!

A: Ryan, You will need to ensure that there is adequate support to allow the sink to be fully supported. Using a toggle bolt will not likely allow enough support. Your American Standard Consumer Connections Team.

Q:Is it possible to hide the water supply valves in the pedestal base?
by|Oct 15, 2019

Answer This Question
A: Well, the lines are looped and visible, but the valves themselves are hidden because of the way they were roughed in. You can't "tuck" behind the pedestal, and it's hard to do the work between the pedestal and the wall (I've not done that DIY before.)

A: No, the pedestal base will not sit directly up against the wall, so they cannot be hidden in the base itself. Your American Standard Consumer Connections Team.

Q:How far above floor should the center line be to hang the sink from?
by|Jun 19, 2019
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: If you view the specification sheet it will give you an approximation as to where the mounting screw holes should be drilled. However it is very important to follow the directions and first set the leg and pedestal up and actually mark the screw holes before you drill.
