Q:can PEX pipe be covered with cement/concrete mix??
by|Apr 29, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Yes, PEX pipe may be buried and covered with cement/concrete mix. Even though fittings can technically be buried too, we recommend using a plastic fitting if necessary and wrapping it with a silicone based wrap. Brass fittings have a higher chance of breaking down over time when buried in concrete.

Q:Is there an on/off water faucet that can be connected to this pipe for outdoor use?
by|Apr 8, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Yes, however it is not recommended that PEX pipe be exposed to sunlight as it will disintegrate over time when exposed to UV rays. We offer a "spigot" or sillcock valve and it can be found online by searching for the part number APXSCV1234. Should you have any additional questions, please call us at 1.888.229.2874.
