A: Yes, absolutely, but you have to rough up the surface with fine sandpaper, then clean off the dust with a tack cloth. Also, depending upon how old the oil paint is--test for lead. ~Mark

Although our Marquee Exterior Paint is a great choice for exterior pressure-treated wood, it isn't recommended to be used on horizontal surfaces that receive foot traffic like a deck.
