Q:I want to paint the stone walls in the basement of my house. It's a little humid there. What is the best way to do this? I want the walls to be a little yellowish rather than white. The walls must remain suitable for further plastering and repairs.

Answer This Question
A: Hello Yaroslav, thank you for your question. We do not recommend applying our products over damp surfaces. It may be best to allow the walls to dry out before painting. Once dry, our Premium Plus Paint in Crushed Limestone is a great color choice if you're looking for a slight yellow finish. You can repair the paint or walls as needed after coating. Have a great day! -Lina

Q:i want to aint over red to a sage is it necassryto prime the wall?

Answer This Question
A: Hi patm, thank you for your question. Behr Premium Plus is self-priming, so priming is not necessary. The first coat will act as a primer coat, and additional coats will provide uniformity. However, if you'd like to reduce the number of coats needed, I recommend using a separate primer like our Multi-Surface Primer No. 436 beforehand. Have a great day! -Alex

Q:is this paint washable
by|May 29, 2024

Answer This Question
A: Hi there, thank you for your question. After it has cured for 30 days, our Behr Premium Plus Flat paint is washable. You can clean it with warm water and mild detergent soap if needed. Abrasive sponges, cleaners, and frequent cleaning can cause burnishing and wear out the coating faster. I'd also like to share that the higher the sheen, the easier it is to clean. Have a great day! -Alex
