Our products are not designed to be submerged under water or get wet constantly. I recommend looking into a specialty product for your project. Have a great day! -Giovanna

A:  Hi Vivi, thanks for the question. We don't recommend using our products on countertops because they are not approved for use on surfaces that come into direct contact with food. Also, the constant cleaning and exposure to water could cause the coating to fail prematurely. A separate primer is not required with our Ultra Scuff Defense Paint, as it is self-priming; the first coat acts as a primer and additional coats provide full coverage. However, using a separate primer can help the paint cover in fewer coats. Hope this helps! -Christina

As it turns out, Chimney is just the name of this color and we do not recommend using any of our interior paints on the inside of a chimney since they are not designed for extreme heat over 140F. Instead, it's best to find a product that is specifically designed for the inside of chimneys. Have a great day! -Christina
