To ensure you get the most out of your Gotta Go Grass simply open the box and set the grass and tray in desired location, make sure it gets lots of light and air. It will last from 2-4 weeks depending on use and upkeep, follow your local city or county guidelines for disposal options. A:  You can get them with the tray or without. Since I already had the tray from a previous purchase, all I had to do was get the refills. Hope this helps.
