A:  Hello, The posts on our pergolas are hollow. We have not tested hanging a bench or anything from the top of the pergolas. Due to them not being tested for this we cannot say that it will hold the weight.

A:  Hello, Our pergolas will not have a slope on them.

A:  The best recommendation would be to check with your local home improvement store as they may have options available or be able to point you in the right direction.

A:  The pergola will come with a water based stain applied for color purposes only. It is recommended to just apply a clear/transparent waterproofing deck sealant as soon as possible before or after assembly and about once a year after that just depending on your environment.
