A:  The oil plug on the side is made out of rubber so it doesn't have a threading size. If you would need a replacement please call 888-448-6746 to get new oil plug for free. Thank you.

A:  If you leave the jack outside, exposed to the elements of weather, the jack might rust. We do not recommend leaving our jacks outside if you plan on using the jack again after leaving it outside for long periods of time.

A:  I would not leave this jack outside for a long period of time because of rust.

A:  Hi Marco. Thank you for your great question. Your project will take a bit of research on your part to make sure that your project will be successful. The 20 ton bottle jacks are strong enough to handle the job, but I think you will need at least 3 bottle jacks. I found a number of YouTube videos that some very good examples. The key to success is a gradual lifting of the out of level area. This may take a couple of weeks to accomplish since you will need to give the wood time to adjust to its new position. Balance and load sharing will be your most important aspect for a successful and safe resolution to your out of level project. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Rick_HD_OC

                    Answer This Question

A:  It depends. For a porch, add wooden bridges between joists, add a 2x6 plank between the joists and posts. Make sure the cement post lines up with the bridges and the proper size for the load of the floor. When in doubt, get a professional contractor/handyman.
