      Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for posting your inquiry. DAP ALEX PLUS Spackling would not typically be recommended for use in this type of repair. For larger plaster repairs, we would recommend the use of DAP Plaster Wall Patch (Dry Mix) in conjunction with an acrylic-latex bonding primer.

A:  Better to use outdoor caulking used for windows and doors. I fill the cracks in and smooth out and rub the caulking deep into the cracks. After it dries, I paint the fascia board. Use the 15yr. caulking. Your done for at least 12 to 15yrs.

A:  Alex Plus Spackling may be sanded or painted in 1 to 5 hours depending on temperature, humidity and depth of fill. One application is usually sufficient for small repairs. For repairs deeper than 1/8”, apply two or more layers allowing spackling to dry between applications.
