Q:What is the sound decibel level for this fan at low vs high setting? What is the runtime at low vs high setting? The specs are sparse and missing a lot of info unlike the red M brand

A:  The DCE512B will have up to 4.5 hours of runtime on Max speed (using a DEWALT DCB205 battery). The decibel rating is not currently available.

                A:  It won’t take the biggest Flexvolt battery, the 15 Ah. The manual says it good for the 6, 9, and 12 Flexvolt. I have used it with my 9Ah, but my 15 won’t connect. There is a large list of 20V batteries that will work, shown in the manual.

                  A:  You can use a 20v lithium ion battery branded by DEWALT or a DEWALT FLEXVOLT battery.

                      Q:What is the model number of this fan where when the battery is removed you can power the fan by plugging it in to an extension cord. Small door folds down at rear of battery area giving access to the 120v male plug.
