A: The boots are NOT wide width - they are normal width. IF you need WIDE width boots, do not get these - they will rub/cut into the side of your foot with the steel toe.

A: They claim to be water resistant and I have gotten them wet but only casually. Don't know about submerging them. The tounge is connected on both sides so nothing came in that way.
