    A:  Approximately 150.

    by|Dec 10, 2020

A:  The amount of screws in a pound is related to the length of the screws. You will get about 124 in a box of 1 5/8 screws, 3” screws will be about 62. A box of 1 1/4 will give you about 170. Hope this helps.

      A:  YES

      by|Sep 3, 2020

A:  Yes, they are for exterior. Just plan on buying a star bit if you don’t have one because the one in the box is too short.

        by|Nov 12, 2020

A:  Yes they are coated. I used them in a fence rebuild and the old screws showed no sign of rust after about 15 years of being exposed to out side weather. In a one lb box you get about 85 screws.

          Answer This Question

A:  I would think not, these screws are course threads and used for decking. They work well in oak, pine And other hard or soft woods. I am sure Hardie Board comes with its own fastener recommended by the Manufacturer.

          by|Aug 7, 2020

          A:  yes, but i would use, a longer 2-1/4

          by|Aug 7, 2020

A:  No, do not use the screws you listed. Use these made for Hardie board. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Backer-On-9-x-1-5-8-in-Serrated-Head-Star-Drive-Cement-Board-Screws-575-Pack-23416/300662123
