Q:Is an extension part needed to install with granite countertops?

A: No extension used. Installation was made by plumber (I was present). Love everything about that faucet: that I don't have to hold it to use the spray so I have both hands to accomplish what I'm doing; that I can hold it between my thumb and index with ease and that it retract back into its position in a second, plus it looks sleek and modern in my kitchen. I recommend it.

A: All parts are included with the faucet, which can be installed on granite, quartz or solid surface countertops with traditional surface-mounted or undercounter sinks. A different model faucet would be required for a vessel sink (Linden single-hole single-handle Model 794-DST).

Q:How high is the faucet at its highest spot? How far is this highest spot from the center of the center of the hole? I have a large 3 section low hanging mirrored medicine cabinet that is mounted on the wall above the sink.

A: Dear Deb,
Thank you for your question. Please know that all of our products undergo rigorous tests to ensure long-lasting use and are made with high-grade materials. The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate).

Tanya
