Am i screwed since i capped the left port? Can i use right port and top ports only? The cartridge seems to have only 3 positions. Trim kit i ordered is T27T959-RB.
Dear Al, thank you for your question. I apologize for the issue you have experienced and I am glad to assist you. We recommend to either replumb the lines from the right port to the left port, or you can purchase a 6-setting diverter cartridge, part number RP51919. There will be some blank settings but the three intended settings, will work properly. Best regards, Tyler
Is there a version of the R22000-WS (Shower only) that allows for a Tub/Shower installation? If not, can I just put a T on the shower outlet and run that to the tub?
Dear Wykon, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer a version of the R22000 rough-in valve that allows for a Shower and tub installation. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We would not recommend to run a tee off the shower outlet as that will likely not supply a satisfactory flow. The best way to incorporate a tub spout would be to run the R10000 rough and Tub/shower trim, with an R11000 diverter and trim ran above it. In the installation manual there are three outlets, but diverter is using only two. Why? What is with the third outlet. In three position you are using outlet 1 only, outlet 1and 2 at the same time, and outlet 2. So, the outlet 3 is not used at any time? Is that right?

This Rough-In has the option of using either a 3-setting trim (two products with a shared setting) or 6-setting trim (three products with three shared settings). On a 3-setting installation, the right port will be capped but with a 6-setting trim, this port will be used. Best regards, Edward

which replacement cartridge do i need to get to work with R22000?
Thank you for your question, Steve! The cartridges will be included with the trim kit that you purchase to go with this valve. The 14, 17, and 17T series use difference cartridges and the diverter cartridge will depend if you get a 3 or 6 setting trim. Best regards, Jon

Why would you use the multi-diverter with stops vs. without??
