Q:I'm wanting to replace my exsisting thermastatic shower valve that went bad with one of yours. my current system has one thermastatic valve and three dirverter valves. which valve and cartridge do you recommend that will have the most flow?

Answer This Question

A:  Hi Lloyd, Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet R10000-IPWS. The flow rate will depend on the trim kit used, the pressure in the home, and other factors. At 60 PSI the maximum flow rate will be about 6.0 GPM with a Monitor pressure-balance unit and 8.5 GPM with a Temp Assure thermostatic unit. Please feel free to contact us directly for technical information at 800-345-3358. We are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Q:Does Delta make part with 3/4" PEX B connections? And is there ever a flow issue with multiple shower head installations?

      Answer This Question

A:  Hi Chris, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! No, we do not manufacture the piping to connect our shower valves. If you are customizing your own shower with multiple components we would recommend installing our R11000 diverter valve. This valve will allow you to connect three different components. Depending on your specific location, you might be able to have a shared option between them. Please reach out to us directly so we can further assist you with this matter! We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! Best Regards, Kyra Digital Engagement Specialist

Q:Someone else asked about this but I am still confused. With the Delta Faucet R10000-UNBXHF, if i want both tub and shower to work do I need a diverter valve? If not what trim set and cartridge allows me to change back a forth from tub faucet to shower?

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi LuisW, Thanks for your question regarding, R10000-IPWS! The R10000-UNBX is universal, which means it would work with any T13/14, T17, and 17T shower trims. If you are installing only a shower head and tub spout, you would not need any additional parts. The bottom port from the rough would need to be plumbed to the diverter tub spout, and the top port would be plumbed to the shower head. The tub spout diverter would redirect the water to the shower head. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Best Regards, Emma Digital Communications Specialist

Q:I installed a Delta R10000-IPWS. Is the correct cartridge a RP46074? I tried a RP19804, but it doesn't appear to work. It fit though. :-)
