Hi rogerkchen, Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! The RP19804 cartridge assembly is only utilized with the R10000-UNBX rough-in valve if it was installed prior to April of 2006. Otherwise all 14 Series trim kits will use the RP46074 cartridge. Please contact us directly if further assistance is needed at this time. Hi KC! Thanks for your question. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing running water from your Delta faucet! I would be happy to help. There are two common causes for a newly installed faucet to run. The first is a loose bonnet nut, the second is debris. First remove your handle and then tighten the bonnet nut with a wrench. It should be hand tight plus one more turn. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Reinstall the cartridge and handle and turn the water back on. Please contact us back if you need further assistance. Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com Best Regards, Yvette
Hello RWW, Thank you for your question. The R10000IPWS would work with 134900-a If you are having issues with the cartridge not getting the proper temperature refer to the M&I and try flushing the valve. https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/78/7814edcd-b73a-4bb5-a1fc-e7a61bf63572.pdf I hope that clears up any confusion. Hi, ChateauRestorer! Thank you for your question. The Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000-IPWS Rough In Valve Body is only guaranteed to work with Delta Valve Trim Kits. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Best Regards, Rosanna
Hi, CJGHou! Thank you for your question. The Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000-IPWS Rough In Valve Body does include stops. These stops work to turn off the water supply at the rough in valve body instead of turning the water supply off at the whole house. This is beneficial if the shower unit needs to be worked on in the future. Best Regards, Rosanna
Yes, Stop can act shut off valves. It is excellent future with old plumbing where no shut off valve in wall. You can turn off water when you installation to test your leaks at rough in valve and after completion of installation you can turn on and off as you need to work around and when you want repair or replace leaky cartridge.
They are shut off valves
Thank you for the clarification. Looking at the website as to what cartridge to order is very unclear. One place says any starting with 13/14 will work. I'll try the replacement if I get the other half if my issue resolved. With no cartridge installed I have no pressure to the shower. Without a cartridge I should have max pressure.
Frustrated, I'm very sorry for the issue you are experiencing! We recommend using a genuine Delta cartridge. However, it appears that the IB-133670 is designed to be a replacement for the RP19804 cartridge, which is only for 1300/1400 Series units (manufactured prior to February 2006). A MultiChoice R10000 Valve (2006 to present) will use the RP46074 13/14 Series cartridge. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Installed recommended cartridge and it stopped the leaking shower. Pressure is better, still lower than ideal, but usable .
Answer 1 You need to check you inserting cartridge in proper direction and check your setting from front at handle. You may have to position stop screw were your not passing shut off position. Or your cartridge has any seal broken or cut or missing. Answer 2 You can remove cartridge and cap front of valve with factory shipping cap and secure then mount your shower head turn on both water ( hot / cold ) and change to shower from spout. If water come with full pressure your valve and shower head is okay. This will tells your cartridge might have setting problem. If there is no pressure then your shower head has debris in screen or and output holes. Need to clean or replace with new one.
