You might have one of the following problems. First when you installed new cartridge you might have damage o--rings. second one you might have damage cartridge after used. When I had First valve installed on first night, guest use excessive force while turning handle it broke cartridge. There is another thing is water temperature stopper( under handle ) you may have to adjust to make sure handle turn all the way back to stop position. You have water not stopping by two small stopper next to water inlet you may have to turn off main water then remove those water stopper screws and replace o ring on those , If water leaking at Spout or at shower head you need to rebuild your cartridge or replace with new one.( you can call DELTA for under warranty replacement

Thank you for your question, Snoopy! This MultiChoice Universal Tub/Shower Rough is simply a mixing valve that allows for the control of water flow and temperature. Once inside the valve, the water can be diverted to the shower head with the use of the tub spout but can not divert to a second shower head. You will need a R11000 diverting valve in order to control where the water is directed as well as a corresponding 3-setting diverter trim which will allow you to use the shower heads independently or at the same time. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000 Best regards, Edward
Hi, Jan! Thank you for your question. The R10000-IPWS can be used with any of our Delta trim kits that start with numbers- T13, T14, T17, and T17T series trim kits. Best Regards, Rosanna

Check your cartridges inside valve, make sure you have inserted correctly and handle setting is correct position.
No, you can installed tub spout or if you have shower only then plug bottom port to tub spout.
Thank you for your question. The only reason you would need a diverter assembly with your Delta Faucet R10000-UNBXHF is if you were going to add other features to your shower only faucet. If you added a handshower or jets, you will need a diverter. We recommend Delta Faucet model # R11000 diverter valve and then the matching trim to your faucet trim. There are 3-function and 6-function diverter trims available. It depends on whether you are adding one feature or two as to which diverter trim you will need. Thanks. Jody
Depend on you. If you installing for tub shower you need spout diverter, if you want use shower only then you have to cap bottom port on valve.
Only difference between two model are water inlet connection.
Thank you for your question. The difference between Delta Faucet model numbers R10000-IPWS and R10000-UNBX is that R10000-IPWS can only be used with iron pipe connections or CPVC adapters and it has screwdriver stops allowing the unit to be serviced without turning off the all of the water in the house. Delta Faucet model # R10000-UNBX is universal and can be used with copper, iron pipe, pex or CPVC adapters and this unit does not have the screwdriver stops. We do offer a universal model with screwdriver stops. The model number is R10000-UNWS.
