Q:Can I apply this board directly on existing drywall? If so, can it be applied using adhesive instead of screws? If so, which adhesive? For wet room shower application. Thanks.

        Q:Can this board be used on an outdoor kitchen wall and then have stone work attached to it with mortar or cement. Or does it need to have a mesh screen attached first? This is for a Florida outdoor kitchen area.

            A:  Trust, In dry non-tile and non-wet areas you may install DensShield Tile Backer using fiberglass mesh tape, trowel all purpose or setting type joint compound over the entire panel to produce a smooth surface, then prime and paint.
