A:  Thanh, you need to clear the space where you want to place this pad. Get rid of tree roots and rocks and make it as level as you can. Place the pad on the cleared area and put a level on it to see just how level it is. Adjust the area higher or lower if needed and look at the level again. If it is still uneven repeat by adding or taking some of the soil away. Once done, it is ready to use for whatever purpose you bought it for.

A:  This is NOT self leveling. You'll need to level the area where this is going. Self leveling is like water seeking its own level. Self leveling concrete is much thinner than regular and runs over an area leveling itself. It does need to be contained where you want it or it will just keep going until it has run out of space.

Q:Can I stack two of these? Original mini split was installed on a pad but it's a little low in a wet area. Looks like current pad may get water over the top of it. Thinking maybe I could put second one on top before we replace the old mini split? Or just move first one and add gravel or something then put first one back?

A:  Yes, my mini split condenser sits on the pad which is placed on 3 inch high cement blocks. Try and get it level, that is important.

A:  It can be cut BUT it may compromise the designed support structure underneath and this may look bad and/or lower it's ability to hold the weight it's designed for.
