        Answer This Question

A:  We do not recommend using the Duracell PowerSource with any device that has a heating element, and therefore the PowerSource can not provide power to a space heater.

        by|Jan 14, 2022

A:  We do not recommend using products with heating elements like heaters, irons and cookers because they consume a great deal of energy and will only run for a few minutes.

            Answer This Question

A:  Yes, if you have a 175 watt inverter plugged into the 12v socket in your vehicle, and use the AC charging cord plugged into the inverter, it will charge the PowerSource. You will need to leave the Duracell PowerSource turned off during this process to properly charge.

            by|Dec 31, 2021

A:  That should work without a problem.  It Is also chargeable with a small (100 watt max) solar panel.

              by|Dec 31, 2021

A:  Yes. You can use a 175 watt inverter plugged into the 12 volt socket of your vehicle and use the AC charging cord from the PowerSource plugged into the inverter.

                by|Jan 3, 2022

A:  Yes but it would take longer than the full amps provided at a wall.

                    Answer This Question

A:  You can daisy chain as many batteries as you like to the Duracell PowerSource; however, we recommend charging each group of 300Ah externally, due to the extended charge time using the built in charger.

A:  Yes, you can use the Duracell PowerSource to power items while it's being charged. However if your draw is higher than the current going into the unit, you may still experience low voltage.

A:  You do not need an inverter to run the Duracell PowerSource. If you wish to charge the unit from your vehicle, you can use a 175 watt inverter, and plug the unit into the inverter using the AC charging cord. If you connect the PowerSource to your battery, you can charge the unit in 2 hour intervals, checking the charge level after 2 hours to determine if the battery is fully charged.
