    Q:It is said to work on "select" Dyson vacuums, I have the Animal 2, will it work on that & is there any other designation other than Animal 2 for my vacuum? ; couldn't find it anywhere.

    A:  Contact the Dyson help as they are very good about what works on their products. It is a toll free number. In addition, on the website it might tell you if the groom tool will work on your model or not but the help line is your best bet. Love the groom tool works great on my German Shepherd.

                  A:  The simple answer is yes. Also, you can go to Dyson.com and enter your vacuum model to get a list of tools for your specific DC14. I use the grooming tool on my 110 lb. German Shepherd and it works very well.

                        A:  I am not familiar with the DC 47 but it would seem that the groom tool would work as long as you have a hose that can use other Dyson attachments. The groom tool has been easy to use on our 110 lb. German Shepard (German Shedder). However, to be certain that the tool will work on the DC 47 you can contact Dyson's customer service center. The Dyson customer service center either by phone or online are extremely helpful and really know their products well.
