A:  Hi there! Thank you for your inquiry. ECHO has not tested the PAS Attachments on other manufactures products. ECHO has not tested other manufacture attachment products on the PAS units. ECHO is unable to confirm if they will fit or not. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

A:  I do know that the Xpandit attachments Ryobi & other manufacturers have WILL NOT fit on this. Diameter of the Echo shaft is a bit smaller.

A:  Looks like a package deal , the pas is the same unit. Good deal . We run them all day.

The main difference between all of these is just how it comes in a kit; PAS-225SB will come with the power head and the trimmer attachment; PAS-225VP will come with the power head, trimmer and curved shaft edger attachments; PAS-225VPB will include the power head, trimmer and blower attachment.

A:  Yes, the one I purchased a couple years ago did come with a shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is also nice if you change the PAS attachment option to the hedge trimmer. Overall, this is a nice edger and not super heavy.

A:  Hi! Thank you for your inquiry. The shoulder strap or a heavy duty harness if you prefer, these items are purchase separately. Next part numbers are compatible with the PAS-225SB. Part #99944200200 - SRM Shoulder Strap Kit - Includes shoulder strap and hardware to install shoulder harness. Part #99944200202 - Heavy-Duty brushcutter Harness - Includes 4 point harness with padded straps and his protector and quick attachment clip.

A:  When I purchased mine, it had a full spool and it worked great. The attachments can be difficult sometimes but grease really helps. Overall, great product!
