Q:What are the reasons to buy a curved shaft or straight shaft edger attachment? thanks

A:  The straight shafts will provide a longer reach and are better suited for heard to reach area like desk,s patios, or reaching under benches. Straight shaft models are blade capable and are equipped with a gearbox that provides more torque for aggressive cutting and blade applications. Curved shafts are lighter in weight and easier to handle. These models are ideal for tight areas and allow you to see better when operating. Curved shaft models are designed for the homeowner or commercial users.

        A:  I use it with the Echo 58 volt unit and it works great. I live on a corner lot with a lot of edging and the Battery will last up to four edgings without charging. I am very satisfied with it.

          A:  No, the PAS Edger Attachment is only compatible with approved PAS (Pro Attachment Series) Models.

            A:  According to Echo's web site, it is compatible with PAS-225, PAS-230, PAS-266, PAS-280 and PAS-2620. I believe that is all of the current Echo Pro Attachment Series powerheads.
