A:  Yes, they help during the spin cycle.

A:  Washer is 120 volts and Dryer is 240 volts.

A:  A 240 volt cord will only plug into a 240 volt outlet, because the outlets for 120 & 240 volts have different configurations.

A:  I am pretty sure you a regular 120v outlet would be a fire hazard. I think your life is worth more than the risk

A:  Im not sure what you are looking at specifically, but if this product offers a GAS dryer, that will likely be 120v. All Electric dryers should be 240v.

A:  What's your point? Most washers in North America are 120V 15A. Perhaps you confused this washer for a dryer? Most dryers are 240V 30A. But you would know that, being an Appliance Salesperson.

A:  Little late since you asked in February, but if you go to the Electrolux website, you can click and compare all the models and it will specifically show you where they are different.
