A:  This is mild steel. Tensile strength would be somewhere around 50,000 psi. Given the cross sectional area of this product and allowing for the perforations, You could expect about 3000 lbs. yield strength under laboratory conditions. For a reasonable working load, considering that it would be applied via suitable bolts through individual perforations. I'd estimate about 1000 lbs. max. This is thin, "light-duty" material. Use caution.

A:  The hole center spacing appears to be 1.00 inch.

A:  This particular Punched Angle is 18 gauge. Thank you for your inquiry.

A:  This is approximately 22 gauge (.034 inch thick) which is 1/32" for practical purposes.

A:  This model is 18 gauge.

A:  I can only assume that they'd cut it for you. It cuts easily with a hacksaw or even "tin snips" with a little effort.

A:  I'm not sure if they cut it. But a pair of tin snips cuts through it pretty easily.

A:  Home Depot does not cut punched angle in the store.

A:  Unfortunately no, but it is easy to work and cut.

A:  Holes are 27/64". 3/8" bolts fit nicely - with 3/64" extra space in the hole. Bolts don't come with it.

A:  No bolts come with it. The holes will accommodate 3/8" bolts but that size far exceeds the strength of the material. I used 1/4" bolts and lag screws with washers. They're more than adequate.

A:  The manufacturer suggests using 5/16" bolts.

A:  I used my self 5/16 with locking nuts and work great.

A:  Just bought one; it measures 18 gauge.

A:  The thickness is .25 inches.

A:  There's no way it's 1/4" thick.

A:  I would have called this 1/32" thick material. I measured it at .040" which correlates with 20 gage galv. steel.

A:  The bar is made of steel. The zinc coating will mitigate the rusting but will be consumed as it does. When the zinc gone, the steel will begin to rust.

A:  No, the zinc coated material will rust if you need it not rust, you be better using galvanized material.

A:  It's galvanized so, yes, rust resistant.

A:  The punched holes are about .390" which is just slightly larger than 3/8"

A:  The punched holes are just over 3/8" (about .390").
