Questions and Answers for Fernco 2 in. x 1-1/2 in. DWV Flexible PVC Coupling

A:  Hello, unfortunately, our coupling is not rated to be used on pools because of the amount of pressure their filters push out. Our coupling pressure rating is 4.3 PSI and usually pool filters will exceed that, and the coupling will balloon and could burst off, so we just don't recommend using them on pools. A:  Hello, absolutely that should be no problem at all. We just recommend making sure that the two pipes are budded up together as much as you can for a better connection. A:  Hello, When using this product, it will work for this application as long as the connection fits within the OD range that the coupling can handle (2.00" -1.65"). A:  Hello, if your Outer diameters are exactly 1-1/2 inches on both sides then you are right this 1056-150 is going to be too large because this coupling is for 1-1/2 inches nominal PVC which PVC OD is about 1.9". The best coupling to use if your outer diameters are exactly 1-1/2 inches is our 1056-125. The ranges on that one is 1.7-1.4" on both sides. thank you!

A:  Hello, unfortunately no, our products are only used for sewer and drainage waste water. I apologize for the inconvenience.

A:  Hello, unfortunately, we do not recommend the use of our products on furnaces, or water heaters etc. because of the temperature. our products are only rated for 140 degrees Fahrenheit intermittent and 120 degrees Fahrenheit consistent. i apologize for the inconvenience.
