Q:Does this actually prevent frost and ice from forming on the inside of the windows? And how is this different then other plastic window covering products because those did not prevent ice from forming.

Answer This Question
A: Not all windows when Shrink windows are applied will be frost or ice free. The older the window, the type of frame and the tightness of the fit of the window, along with the lack of insulation around the window frame, all play a part in foggong, frosting and icing.

Q:i have newly painted windowframes. Will the tape pull the paint off
by|Nov 17, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Wait at least 90-120 days before applying any kind of tape to freshly painted surfaces. Paint is like concrete, underneath the outer surface, it takes time for it to cure. If you do apply tape before then, it will pull the paint free from the surface painted.

Answer This Question
A: Yes, it seems to be holding okay.
by|Dec 10, 2019
A: Yes it can be used outdoors. However, the temperature must be above 50 degrees for a extended period of time for the tape to work properly.
by|Nov 12, 2019
A: I don't see why not, assuming the outdoor conditions for temperature, clean surfaces and moisture are suitable. However, putting it on the outside would expose it to weathering conditions for which it is not designed, so it may suffer greater wear or damage in such applications.
