A:  Hi Judy, Thank you for your interest in G-Floor Rib Flooring. Any exterior installation would need to be completely adhered to the subfloor. The subfloor surface needs to be flat, smooth and clean to adhere properly.

A:  No, jacks and jack stands should not damage the flooring

A:  Hello ClassicCarGuy, Thank you for your interest in G-Floor Rib flooring. The Rib flooring is great for containing liquids. However, if you are more interested in the ability to easily roll items like floor jacks, creepers or tool boxes then I would recommend the G-Floor Levant Flooring which has a leather grain texture with no raised area. The G-Floor Diamond Tread, Coin and Small Coin patterns would all work with a floor jack. Please note that jack stands with sharp edges could cause damage to the flooring. Placing the jack stands on a solid piece of wood will keep the jack stand from cutting into the flooring.

A:  Jade, Thank you for your inquiry about the G-Floor, Rib flooring. If you are most interested in slip resistance I would suggest the Small Coin pattern since it offers traction with the studded protrusions on the surface. The Ribbed Texture is an excellent choice for work spaces and garages that see a frequent number of spills and liquids. With the ribbed channels, messes are contained until cleanup is done. Along with its functionality, the Ribbed texture provides traction for slip resistance, perfect for any garage or utility space. Please keep in mind that if there is enough moisture or something slick on the surface, any flooring could become slippery. The surface can be cleaned by simply hosing down or cleaning with a mild soap or household detergent and a damp mop. The flooring is resistant to stains and chemicals. If your primary goal is to contain spills, the Rib Pattern is perfect for that application. If you are more concerned about slip resistance than the Small Coin would be a better choice.

A:  This flooring is completely waterproof and will keep any moisture from penetrating through the product. This also means that if moisture exists in the concrete subfloor that it will not be able to evaporate if trapped under the flooring. It is also possible for moisture to migrate under the flooring from around the edges if not fully glued down. A possible solution could be to have your concrete floor sealed before installing the G-Floor mat and or moving the mat periodically to allow the area underneath to dry especially in areas of high humidity.
