A:  I have found that soap and water periodically work to keep these from turning opaque and loosing effectiveness.

A:  Your lamp can be cleaned with a damp cloth (specifically the solar panels). Glass cleaner can be used on glass panes if needed.

A:  $17 from baysonic, well worth the investment. I'm in MN it it keeps the lights on all night even in winter. Add the second battery to achieve this

A:  The battery in the unit has a life expectancy of 1-2 years. The battery will need to be replaced if you are experiencing issues of dimness.

A:  There should just be a place to plug the battery pack into. There is plastic around the batteries to hold them together. I don’t recall there being anything that I had to pull off the battery pack before use.

A:  The vinyl (blue) wrapping should never be removed from the battery.

A:  There is a thin plastic tab sticking out of the battery tray that you pull to activate the battery.

A:  Model, GS-105B-FPW has an optional battery compartment for the unit if needed in the event the unit does not remain illuminated from dusk to dawn.

A:  Model, GS-105B-FPW has a replaceable battery included within the unit. (GS32V15, 3.2V1500mah). The unit also has an OPTIONAL battery compartment in the event the unit is receiving adequate sunlight but still does not stay on from dusk to dawn.

A:  It comes with a bulb ... and I'm not sure of the guaranteed hours, but it has direct sunlight all day, and maybe lasts 4 hours.

A:  It has led bulbs, they is no guarantee on run time. Mike

A:  Yes, the model will come with a bulb. As far as guaranteed hours its 50,000 hours and it is 10–16 hour duration.
