A: Hello- Thanks so much for your purchase and for checking with us. Not all dishwashers have an insulation blanket. This is perfectly normal for this model. Also, on this model the Dry Cycle is engaged automatically as part of the cycle selection. The heating element is activated during both the Normal and Heavy cycles. However, it is turned on much more during the dry portion of the Heavy Cycle (equivalent to Dry Boost). Dry Boost™ (Heavy Cycle) & Heated Dry (Normal Cycle) We hope this is helpful. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEAppliances
A: Hello there - Thanks for reaching out to us about the Proposition 65 warning on this dishwasher. We're happy to clarify! We comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws. One such law is California Proposition 65, enacted by California in 1986 (Prop 65). This state law requires companies to provide a warning for thousands of consumer products, foods, prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, enclosed parking facilities, amusement parks, furniture, and other everyday items. For more than a decade, we have complied with the Prop 65 requirements by providing a warning in the owner's manual. California recently updated its Prop 65 regulations to require, for products produced on or after August 30, 2018, new on-product warning labels (instead of owner's manual warnings). GE Appliances and other appliance manufacturers will use on-product warning labels to comply with this state law. Starting in early August 2018, we began adding new labels to our products to comply with the new Prop 65 requirements. We hope this helps and we're here should you have future questions. -Kacie@GEAppliances

The light in front of the cycle will light up at that time. The Clean light will illuminate once the cycle is finished. We hope this is helpful. Kind regards - Vikki@GEAppliances
