      A:  I attached mine to the wall. It would scare me to have it just sitting there. It is probably strong enough to sit there. The bottom of my mirror, is corroding and will eventually need to be replaced with a mirror designed for an wet environment. So, I would not recommend this mirror a a wet bath environment
