Q:What is the difference between single flush & dual flush?
              by|Apr 10, 2024

              Answer This Question

A:  Hello Sandy, A dual flush toilet has two flush options, full & reduced, each delivering a different volume of water into the flush. The first, full flush, on this toilet, releases 1.6 gallons of water, this is meant for removing solid waste. The second, reduced flush, releases 1.1 gallons of water, this is meant for removing liquid waste. A single flush toilet only has one flush option, that is the full flush. For single flush the maximum can be up to 1.6 gallons, but now many states only allow new toilets to be 1.28 gallons per flush max. Should you have further comments or need future assistance, please call Glacier Bay @ 1-855-434-5224 where one of our Customer Service Reps can assist you.
