A:  Not designed that way but is strong enough to support up to 300 pounds.

A:  This item was no designed to be used as a scaffold plank.

A:  I haven’t attempted using it as scaffolding. It’s very sturdy and a well made product. If you decide to use as scaffolding consider the maximum weight limit and product safety precautions, unfold the legs to secure the (bottom latter) from sliding outwards and secure the bottom with the top of each.  As always, when working in unfamiliar settings, make sure to have another person assisting and use all safety measures available.  The first 

A:  I would think so but not sure how safe it would be unless secured to the supporting ladders. The main support is strong enough with or without the legs down, but stability is the question that you must be confident with.

A:  I don't see why not. It's very sturdy. Just make sure you secure it very good between the ladders.

A:  Yes, the legs fold flat. If your stair is the correct height I would trust it to hold you. I weigh 260 and these are rated for 300 lb

A:  At the base the yellow is a hard plastic, but the below that is textured rubber to minimize any sliding issues. I've used it on hardwood and vinyl flooring and never had an issue with stability or traction. Excellent product, even bought a second one :)

A:  This platform has non-slip tread and oversized non-marring feet improve stability.

A:  The aluminum is a hard metal that is extremely light which makes the platform easy to carry. It feels very sturdy when you're standing on it and it has never moved while I'm on it. You do need to pay attention to where you place it and make sure it is a safe area before you stand on it.
