                Q:If using the treated 2x4's on a slab, does the metal door sill sit on the treated plate or does one cut that out and install the metal door sill on the concrete? I see how it is okay with the wood framed floor but with concrete it all changes..

                A:  You can install the metal plate on the treated sill plate in front of the doors. If you remove the sill plate in front of the door, there will be a gap at the bottom of the door.

                  A:  The floor decking sits on a treated 2x4 frame and 4x4 treated runners. The floor joist are 16 inches on center.
