Q:Can this be used on a vertical wood surface?
    by|Jun 30, 2023
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Chas, you would be better off using Henry 900 Construction Adhesive and flashing sealant on wood. Henry 208 contains solvents and may not be compatible with the wood over time. You can find Henry 900 in almost every Home Depot in the blue and orange plastic tube.

A:  Constance, the best product to fix those holes and tears would be Henry 209XR. Henry 209XR is made to handle the extreme irregular expansion and contraction of metal. For the tears make sure that you use Henry 181 Fabric in the 3-course patch illustrated on the bucket along with Henry 209XR.

Q:Can this product be used on an RV roof that has TPO?
          by|Apr 21, 2023
          1 Answer
          Answer This Question

A:  Raymond, we strongly do not recommend using Henry 208 or any solvent based leak stoppers on a TPO roof. Solvents and TPO are not compatible. There are only a few products that adhere to TPO because it is a plastic. We recommend that you use Henry 885 100% Silicone Repair and seam sealant for your roof. Henry 885 is a wet patch is also a wet patch and can be used to repair leaks in wet or dry conditions.

            Q:How much do I need for a 16? x 80? mobile home
            by|Apr 18, 2023
            1 Answer
            Answer This Question

A:  Shall, Henry 208 Wet Patch is a patching material to fix leaks on the roof. Henry 208 is not a roof coating. You will need to find the leaks on the roof and fix them prior to coating the roof. We suggest you apply 208 around all roof penetrations and seams, then once the product cures which takes about 30 days you can coat the roof with one of our aluminum products. The other alternative is to apply Henry 885 Repair and seam sealant to the leaking areas and then coat with Henry 887 TropiCool 100% silicone.

Q:Can this product be heated for easy spread with a broom or anything like it to do it faster
              by|Apr 2, 2023
              1 Answer
              Answer This Question

A:  Jose, we strongly do not recommend heating Henry 208 Wet Patch. Henry 208 is formulated to be a patching material which is why it is thick. Henry 208 is not a roof coating. Also, since Henry 208 is solvent based it would not be very safe to heat the product.

Q:Can I use this product to seal a leak in a fifth wheel trailer roof?
                by|Apr 1, 2023
                1 Answer
                Answer This Question

A:  Robe, for repairing or sealing a leak on a trailer, RV or motorhome we recommend using Henry 885, (gallon), or Henry 884, (tube) 100% silicone Seam and sealant. Both 100% silicone products form a much stronger bond on the roof than other leak stoppers. Both sealants will also last a lifetime.

                  Answer This Question

A:  Jays, 208 Wet Patch is flexible and will move and shift unlike concrete. My fear is the concrete would crack and leave you tearing it all off. Thanks for putting your trust in Henry Co and Home Depot.
