Q:What is the bracket made of? I have to cut new holes to install the blinds and my drill bit will not go through them. I want to buy a proper drill bit so want to know what I'm cutting through.

    A:  You have to remove the blind portion and wash. The blind portion usually snaps in and out. It’s anchored inside the clips. I usually use soap and water if not too dirty. If dirty, you can use a something stronger.
