A:  Factory seems to have a defect. Bought two 4 yrs ago. Very bright. Bought one recently. Very dim. Returned. Got same problem with replacement. Seems to be a product defect now that HD nor the manufacturer will solve.

    A:  Our hard-wired light in the kitchen uses separate switches for the light and the fan. Unfortunately, this disables the fan's 3-speed remote control feature but we always want it on high anyway.

        A:  The best way to clean this is to use a bottle brush, the one that has a small brush on one end and a large one on the other end. Just keep the blades from spinning and you can clean everything in it, works great.
